Happy New Year
Still basking in the afterglow of the holidays I am so excited for 2017. The last few weeks have been focused on family and holiday traditions. From decorating the tree with Quinn, baking with Dad and continuing Grandma’s Christmas Eve tradition of Crab Chowder to drinking way too much of Dee’s coffee milk Christmas morning and enjoying way too much of Dad’s gumbo and bread pudding Christmas night- it was a cozy and indulgent holiday season.
Now, it is back to work time – refreshed and energized. And it’s a good thing because there is lots going on already! I’ve got a couple of new listings percolating and soon to hit the market. Next week “the Team” is meeting at my house to celebrate all that we accomplished in 2016 and share our goals for this year. Sonora Sunrise Rotary club is preparing for the Orient Express fun run which will take place February 4th and there is sure to be activity related to that. Lots of fun stuff.
Speaking of Rotary, did you see Rotary International’s Rose Bowl Parade float? It was absolutely my favorite. The colors were so brilliant and the saying, “Doing Good in the World”, Loved it.
I hope this year brings lots of opportunity for us all to use our energy to engage in work that excites us, connect a little deeper with one another and do a little good in the World. Happy New Year.
