Taste: to perceive or experience the flavor of. Flavor: an indication of the essential character of something.

Local Ingredients: Olive Oil & Honey ~ Grilled Salmon w/Honey Mustard Glaze

Salmon

Last week was a lucky week on the food front-

1- When my friend Rob Gordon returned from Alaska he brought me a beautiful sock-eye salmon filet.

2- When my friend and fellow realtor, Lynn Driscoll-Cory, and I went to the Grand Opening of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices CA Realty’s new office in La Grange she made a small detour to Anderson Ranch in Snelling and picked me up a bottle of their insanely delicious Tuscan Field Blend olive oil. (it has a nice peppery finish to it.)

3- I still had some of the honey given to me by local real estate appraiser Rick Fox. (I love the flavor and also that it is from Tuolumne County)

Mixing all of this good fortune together I made Grilled Salmon with a Honey Mustard Glaze. All I can say is- its good to have friends!
