Celebrating the Flavor of Tuolumne County

Taste: to perceive or experience the flavor of. Flavor: an indication of the essential character of something.

Local Ingredients: Indigeny Reserve Hard Cider – Chicken with Cider Sauce

Indigeny Reserve Hard Cider is such a Tuolumne County treasure. It’s fun to drink and also to use in cooking. Last night I made the most delicious sautéed chicken with a cider pan sauce. It had shallots, apple, bacon, chicken stock, a little butter and more than a splash of cider. So yummy!

I basted my Thanksgiving Turkey with Indegeny Hard Cider. It was great!

What a great idea! I’m going to share that with Charlie since he’s in charge of the turkey. This year I made a cocktail on Thanksgiving with their cider and cranberry juice. It was perfect with our appetizers. Fun stuff.
